As you finish registering for one of the conferences, you will be prompted to register for the other as well. If you have already registered and paid for the COSA conference you will receive a refund when you register for the WCC as well regardless of when you make that decision.

* Goods and Services Tax (GST).  

GST is a government imposed tax applicable to all goods and services provided within Australia.  As the conference is being held in Australia, GST is applicable for all registration and accommodation fees, even if the delegates does not reside or carry on an enterprise within Australia.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The dinner is not included in your registration. Dinner tickets may be purchased at the time of registration for a nominal charge of $60 for Members and $90 for Non-Members. Additional Welcome Function Tickets are available for purchase at $50.00 per person.

The steps are straightforward and corrections and amendments can be made at any stage. People who have already used the Currinda registration system for another conference will be able to use their existing record.

Unlike other systems, the registration portal will let you create an enduring profile which you can return to at any stage. Your record is continuously kept up to date with your registration details, invoices and paperwork, abstract submission, accommodation, extra details, invitation letters for visa applications, preferences and payment status. Bookmark the link so you can return when needed.

At the conference itself, your registration details can be securely and privately accessed through the conference ‘app’ along with the general program and abstract information.


Member - to qualify for this category, you must be a current financial member of COSA
Clinical - Clinicians, Surgeon, General Practitioners, Doctor of Medicine 
Scientific/ Allied Health - Scientists, Nurses, Researchers, Allied Health, and other non-clinical Health professionals
Non-Member- any registrant who is not a current financial member of COSA
Student -  must be engaged in full time academic study, provide their student number on the registration application, and if asked, provide a copy of their student card as well as a letter supporting their status from the head of their department.


Trade registrations include all of the above except a satchel and the conference dinner. Some trade passes are included with your exhibition space, and additional passes are available for purchase.

During your registration process, you will be asked to make payment, however this is not required at the time of registering. You can re-visit your registration dashboard at anytime to make payment. Payment must be made atleast 30 days prior to the conference. 

Available payment options for International and Local delegates include:

* Credit card - VISA or Master Card.  (We do not accept AMEX).
* Cheque - personal or business/employer, drawn upon an Australian bank account.
* Direct debit or Electronic funds transfer - you will be emailed banking instructions upon request. To obtain bank details for a Direct Deposit, please contact Bree at [email protected]

A Tax Invoice (receipt) will be provided for all registrants.  
The fee includes a GST component. 
The ABN for the conference is 90 093 246 176.
All rates quoted include GST and are in Australian dollars.


  • All cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat ([email protected]).

    Registration cancellation before November 1st 2014 incur a $100 cancellation fee applies. After November the 1st, no refunds are possible. However a registration fee may be transferred to an unregistered delegate without charge. Note no refunds are possible for registrations made under the ‘Exclusive Offer’

Early Bird Payments – Early Bird Registration closes Friday 5 September 2014. Payment must be received for early bird registrations no later than Friday 12 September 2014 or the early bird discount will be forfeited. 
Changes - Any changes to the registration and accommodation booking details should be made via your registration dashboard in the first instance, or directed in an email to the conference secretariat, who will endeavour to accommodate the request.
Cancellation Policy - Registration cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of AUD $100 if made in writing before Sunday 2 November 2013. If a cancellation is made within 30 days of the conference delegates will be charged the full registration amount with no refund available. However registrations can be transferred to substitute delegates without penalty.
An additional fee may be charged if a hotel booking is cancelled (depending on each hotel's policy). ALL cancellations MUST be made in writing to [email protected]. 
Insurance - The Registration fee does not include insurance of any kind and the meeting secretariat cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange their own insurance. Delegates are encouraged to make their own insurance arrangements to cover any loss caused by unforeseen delay, circumstance or cancellation.
Photography - The COSA 2014 Conference will secure the services of an official photographer for the duration of the conference. These photographic records will be used by COSA for their own purposes as necessary.
